ITINERARY

If there is a place that defines the essence of Africa, that place is Tanzania, a land of contrasts, a paradise where the nature of the Serengeti and its teeming plains prostrate themselves before the snowy peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. To the south, the lush basin of the Ngorongoro Crater gives you the chance to live a dream come true.

Welcome to the home of the big five, Tanzania is host to the largest wildlife sanctuaries on the planet. This adventure tours the best national parks and enters landscapes that will be very familiar to you. I'm sure you've seen it thousands of times in documentaries about Erengeti... Well, the time has come to explore it and enter its vast plains full of wildlife. But if that were not enough, at this time of year, you will have the privilege of witnessing the birth of wildebeest and zebra babies in the immense Ndutu plain, south of the Serengeti, the enclave where the breeding season takes place.

This trip invites you to let yourself go to discover the greatest treasure of wildlife in Tanzania, the Gorongoro Crater, the Eden of Africa and a World Heritage Site, a place that will delight photography lovers.

This trip through Tanzania is much more than a safari, it is a life experience that will captivate your five senses and awaken your adventurous spirit. It is an excellent opportunity to feel the immensity of the African savannah and experience the excitement of touring one of the most beautiful countries in Africa, letting yourself be amazed by its wonderful wild nature.

DAY 1

Night in Arusha

You will arrive at the airport where we will receive you with a warm welcome hug. Later, we will move to our accommodation in A, after a brief briefing with advice about our adventure, we will enjoy the free day to rest in our beautiful lodge or take advantage as you prefer, visit the city or mingle with the locals.

DAY 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire is an unspoilt paradise, safaris here are particularly enjoyable thanks to a unique landscape full of impressive centuries-old baobabs. But the most spectacular feature of this beautiful place is the largest migration of East African elephants through the Tarangire river system. It is also relatively common to spot climbing lions or cheetahs, but don't worry, on our first day of Safari we will have the opportunity to meet many of the inhabitants of the savanna. Today we rest in a beautiful lodge where we can regain strength to continue the adventure.

DAYS 3, 4 and 5

Serengeti National Park - 3 nights

During this time it is essential to visit the southern area of the Serengeti or the north of Ngorongoro (Ndutu), as it offers us the possibility of seeing thousands of migratory herds of herbivores, which have come down to give birth to their young and thus be able to feed on the fresh pastures of the extensive plains of this savannah before making its way north into what we call,
The Great Migration.

In the southern Serengeti, Ndutu, herds of herbivores (wildebeest, zebra, Thompson gazelle or eland) gather for one of the most exciting wildlife events: giving
light to no less than 8,000 young per day in the nutritious low grasses greened after the rains.

This natural measure gives the chicks more possibilities to survive and feed, favoring their growth and preparing them for the great march north. Therefore, on this trip you will enjoy a
unique event which, thanks to the biological clock of the female herbivores, will give birth to all the offspring that year.

But wildlife has more faces. This event attracts leopards, lions, cheetahs, among other predators, who look for easy prey. Elephants, giraffes and buffalos are other of its neighbors. The next day you will go to the northern area of Serengeti to follow the migratory routes of the animals, reaching the famous Mara River to witness the spectacle of the Wildebeest Crossing. In the afternoon you will return to Ikoma to spend the night. The next day, you will go on a full-day safari in the Park, eating a picnic in the middle of the savanna. Optionally, before the safari you can take a hot air balloon excursion. Likewise, optionally, tonight it will be possible to go on a night safari through the Ikoma area.

DAY 6

Ngorongoro Crater

We are very fortunate to be able to enjoy a new dawn over the Serengeti and its vibrant wildlife for the second time. After breakfast, we will head out of the park while we make new wildlife sightings. Today, we will head to the Ngorongoro Crater, where our 4-wheel drive vehicle will take us 1,500 meters down until we reach the base of the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest volcanic caldera in the world, the protected area covers an area of 8,288 km². It is often written about as one of the natural wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence but also because it serves as an extraordinary sanctuary for some of the world's largest populations of large mammals.
from Africa.

DAY 7 Ancestral Cultures: Hadzabe and Datoga and Maasai Tribe

Today we will immerse ourselves in the experience of hunting with a bow and arrow alongside the last hunters: the Hadzabe. For this tribe, time stands still, maintaining their ancestral traditions for more than 40,000 years. They reside in towns on the shores of Lake Eyasi, and you will have the privilege of
live with them and enter their fascinating world. After this extraordinary experience, we will delve into the culture of the Datoga, neighbors of the Hadzabe, known for their skill in sculpture and blacksmithing. In addition, we will have the honor of meeting the Masai, one of the most emblematic African tribes. The Masai will welcome us with kindness and show us their homes, schools and share their unique lifestyle with us.

DAY 8

Napuru Waterfalls

Returning to Arusha, we will take advantage of the last day to do some spectacular trekking.

Mount Meru is home to many incredible waterfalls that cascade from the volcanic slopes.
This adventure involves a steep motorcycle ride down a rocky path followed by a jungle ladder that takes you to a gorge. Once inside, you walk along the river, climbing rocks until you find the intense waterfalls that fall with incredible force at its base. An extraordinary sight and just a few kilometers from the city, the Mount Meru waterfall is one of the best things to do in Arusha.
